Installation & Care Guide

1. Post Preparation: Ensure your slotted concrete posts are set firmly in concrete footings with a clear opening width of 184cm between post channels.
2. Base Levelling: Lay a level sand or lean-mix concrete bed along the ground channel before setting your bottom kick plate panel.
3. Stacking Panels: Slide each panel down the post slots tongue-side up, ensuring the groove of the upper panel seats fully onto the tongue below.
4. Maintenance: Concrete requires minimal maintenance. To retain the fresh grey color and protect against water saturation, we recommend applying a specialist breathable concrete sealer or masonry preservative.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use this as a bottom gravel board with timber panels?
Yes! These 26cm high panels make an excellent decorative kick plate. They elevate timber panels above wet soil to prevent rot while giving your fence a solid concrete base.

Do these panels require mortar between joints?
No mortar is required. The tongue-and-groove interlocking system provides a flush, snug fit when stacked vertically inside slotted post channels.

How are these delivered?
Deliveries are carried out by external hauliers using an articulated lorry equipped with a Moffett offload forklift to safely place your heavy concrete order near your site.
